Surroundings: We walk through the natural park "Cap de Creus" with the typical Mediterranean coast, with almost constant views to the "Costa Brava", the wild coast. Aromatic plants, wild roses, gorse, wild meadows / shrubs flowering according to the season and trees shaped by the wind Tramontana determine the landscape.
Remarkable: As written in a hiking guide: "The path between Montjoi and Cala Joncols is a trek par excellence. In the early summer you walk through a sea of flowers on the cliffs, passing by the beautiful coves. From the cape you will enjoy a fabulous view towards the south coast." Swimming either in a sandy beach (Cala Pelosa) or a pebbled one (Cala Joncols).
Don`t forget: swimsuit, flip flops, sun protection, sufficient drinks (water, isotonic drinks), energy food, comfortable clothing, spare clothing (when sweating or freezing), rainwear if needed and BEING IN A GOOD MOOD ;-)
